MISSION

To provide supportive mentoring services through a trauma-informed and lived experience lens for the purpose of building resilience in our youth, families, and communities.

Community Wraparound is a gang prevention and intervention, positive youth development, and community safety initiative that leverages strategic community alliances to support gang-affiliated, justice-impacted, and at-risk youth. We promote success through involvement with families, schools, employers, and communities, and provide systems-oriented navigation, expertise, and lived experience to offer an alternative to gang life, delinquency, and substance use. Our organization provides individual mentoring, case management, comprehensive life planning, family and group meetings, community violence interruption, and community service projects. In conjunction with local schools, law enforcement, and social services agencies, we hope to advance a collaborative effort to build resilient families and communities, increase awareness on criminogenic factors relating to gang-affiliation, and prevent juvenile incarceration.
