Community Wraparound - Weekly Time Allocation (Feb 15-21, 2026)

At Community Wraparound, our mission is to provide comprehensive support, mentoring, and community outreach to diverse populations across the entirety of San Diego County. We believe in meeting individuals where they are, creating a network of care that extends from school campuses and community hubs into the juvenile justice system.

A cornerstone of our work is on-site academic and engagement support for youth. Through our partnership with Learn4Life Innovation High Schools, our teams maintain a consistent weekly presence between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at campuses in Lemon Grove, Chula Vista, National City, Escondido, Vista, and City Heights. We further deepen our school-based impact by providing daily, focused student engagement and mentoring at Spring Valley Academy, as well as dedicated support four days a week at JCCS 37ECB.

Beyond the classroom, we utilize central locations like the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center to build essential life skills and foster community connection. Every Thursday, we host intensive Youth Job Readiness Workshops. Tuesday evenings are a hub of activity, where we offer creative outlets through Graffiti Art Classes (in partnership with NCRC), facilitate Victim Awareness Groups, and host our community-focused "Wraparound Nights," addressing vital topics such as healthy boundaries and relationships.

Our commitment to restorative practices extends deeply into the juvenile justice system. We provide crucial support at detention facilities, including the East Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility (EMJDF), where we conduct individual 1:1 check-ins and restorative circles. We are also active throughout the week at the Youth Transition Center (YTC), facilitating various restorative circles designed to motivate and empower youth.

At the heart of all our programming is the power of personal connection. We offer personalized 1-on-1 mentoring during afternoon hours at the National Conflict Resolution Center and at our office in the Jacobs Center. Furthermore, we create spaces for shared understanding through our "Lived Experience" mentoring groups on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Through these varied touchpoints, Community Wraparound is dedicated to serving and uplifting our San Diego community.
